Stylist Agreement

This Stylist Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between Style2You (“Platform”, “we”, “us”, “our”) and you (“Stylist”, “you”). By registering as a stylist on the Style2You platform, you agree to be bound by this Agreement.

1. Independent Contractor Status

You are an independent contractor, not an employee, partner, agent, or representative of Style2You. You have no authority to bind Style2You in any way.

You are solely responsible for:

  • Your taxes
  • Licences and permits
  • Insurance
  • Tools and products
  • Compliance with all laws and industry regulations

2. Platform Role

Style2You provides a digital marketplace to connect you with clients. We do not provide hair services and are not responsible for service quality, client conduct, or outcomes.

3. Stylist Requirements

To use the platform, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate personal and business information
  • Submit valid government-issued ID for verification
  • Provide professional qualifications where required
  • Maintain professional behaviour and hygiene standards

False information may result in immediate termination.

4. Bookings & Performance

  • You must honour all confirmed bookings.
  • You must arrive on time and perform the agreed service.
  • Repeated late arrivals or cancellations may lead to account suspension.
  • You may not take bookings off the platform to avoid commissions.

5. Fees & Commission

  • Style2You charges a 15%platform commission per completed booking.
  • Payments are processed via third-party payment providers.
  • Payouts are made within 14 business days after service completion.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes.

6. Cancellations

  • Repeated cancellations may result in penalties or account removal.
  • If you cancel without valid reason, Style2You may withhold payouts or apply penalties.

7. Use of Platform & Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Harass or discriminate
  • Provide false reviews
  • Share client data outside the platform
  • Use Style2You for illegal activity

8. Confidentiality & Data Protection

You must keep client information confidential and use it only for booking purposes.
You must delete client contact and address details after the appointment.

9. Content & Marketing

You grant Style2You a royalty-free licence to use your profile, name, photos, and reviews for marketing purposes.

10. Suspension & Termination

Style2You may suspend or terminate your account at any time for breach of this Agreement.

11. Limitation of Liability

Style2You is not liable for:

  • Client actions
  • Injuries or damages
  • Lost or stolen items

12. Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa.
