These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Style2You platform (“Platform”, “Service”, “we”, “us”, “our”). Style2You is an online marketplace that connects clients with independent professional hair stylists.

By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Platform Role

Style2You is a marketplace only.
We do not provide hair services ourselves and are not a party to the agreement between clients and stylists. Stylists are independent contractors, not employees, partners, or agents of Style2You.

2. User Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this platform.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering.

3. Accounts

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
  • You may not share or transfer your account.
  • Style2You may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Bookings

  • All bookings are made through the Platform.
  • Once a booking is confirmed, both parties are expected to honour it.
  • Clients must ensure the service address is accurate.
  • Stylists must arrive on time and deliver the agreed service.

5. Payments, Fees & Commission

  • Payments are processed via secure third-party payment providers.
  • Style2You charges a platform commission of 15% per completed booking.
  • The remaining amount is paid to the stylist within 14 business days after service completion.
  • Stylists are responsible for their own taxes.

6. Cancellations, Cancellations & No-Shows

Clients

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment will not be eligible for a full refund.
  • Clients may request to reschedule an appointment at least 24 hours before the scheduled time at no additional charge.

Stylists

  • Repeated cancellations may result in account suspension or removal.
  • Stylists may request to postpone an appointment at least 48 hours before the scheduled time. Any changes made after this period may result in a cancellation penalty to compensate for the client’s inconvenience.

Style2You may withhold payouts for unresolved disputes.

7. User Conduct

You agree not to:

  • Provide false information
  • Harass, abuse, or discriminate
  • Use the Platform for illegal activity
  • Circumvent the Platform to avoid commissions

8. Reviews & Content

Users may leave reviews.
You grant Style2You a royalty-free licence to use posted content for marketing and platform improvement.

9. Verification & Safety

Stylists must submit valid ID and credentials for verification.
False documents may result in permanent account removal.

10. Limitation of Liability

Style2You is not responsible for:

  • The quality of services
  • Personal injury or property damage
  • Lost items
  • Disputes between users

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these Terms without notice.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa.
